I opened an office in Crestview in 2015. In 2016, I was contacted by Dr. Bayer and Curtis to take over treating their patients in the Crestview area. It was a wonderful opportunity and I am very grateful that they hand-picked me to treat their patients. I am continuing their legacy of orthodontic treatment that started in the 1970’s. I have been excited to give back to local schools with our Teacher Wish List and donating to different community organizations. We have close relationships with all the dentists in the area and are proud to provide what we believe is the best orthodontic treatment in Crestview.

Getting your braces taken off is cause for celebration, and all of us at Sims Orthodontics certainly commend you for reaching this important milestone in your orthodontic treatment! However, orthodontic treatment does not end when the braces are removed. At this point, you begin the retention stage of your treatment, and your final orthodontic result will depend on your retainers.

I'm 21, had braces and full orthodontic treatment then I got them off at 16. I lost my retainers, got relapse and as a result have a slight over bite (probably a class 1)plus other teeth have shifted. I came in for a consultation, and although the doctor agreed my case wasn't severe by any means he still insisted it would take me 1 year of Invisalign or braces and 5141k to align my bite. (Even though braces are still cheaper Invisalign he said they were going to cost me the same.) Now, I'm not an orthodontist but believe me when I say I did my research before coming there and the cost of Invisalign is 3-8k depending on how bad your teeth are. I'm nowhere near a 6 or 8k job, probably 3k. Bottom line is, if you don't want to get ripped off shop around and see several different orthos. Ended up working with one who is only charging me 800$ and 6 months for treatment , so please keep this in mind if you're on the fence about getting your teeth aligned. It was very frustrating to go there and be lied to. Also, they threatened to sue me over making a negative review online.

We have been with Sim Orthodontist for 2 years now. The friendliest staff who are always welcoming. We have never spent more than an hour here, even sometimes we are in and out in 30 minutes. Dr. Sims Orthodontist is a great place to go for all your orthodontist needs. I was taking my son to see Dr. Bayer for about 8 years and now Dr Sims for the past 2 years. The staff is very friendly, full of smiles, and the facility is always clean and organized. The staff all work well together and make you feel very comfortable. Mrs. Lisa put on the braces 7 years ago and then also the second set 3 years ago. Mrs Lisa is so awesome.
