This one is the easiest question to answer. If you watch any of the videos on my website you can see I am so grateful to be in a profession that provides such a life changing service to so many kids and adults. We transform a patient’s smile but that does so much more for them. It is so rewarding to watch a shy, unconfident kid just come out of their shell, start talking and smiling more and just being more confident once their teeth start getting straighter. I have an opportunity to connect with so many kids (and adults) and not only build a relationship with them but influence them in a positive way.
I am part of the cleft palate and craniofacial clinic and many of these patients have been through so much. They have very complex dental and orthodontic needs and it can be very challenging technically but also emotionally. Watching them positively change physically and emotionally is one of the most rewarding things we do at my office.

I would consider myself a true Hometown orthodontist in Pensacola. I was born in Pensacola and lived in Gulf Breeze until I left for college. I had the opportunity to fulfill my dream of practicing orthodontics in Pensacola when Dr. Trawick entrusted me with the responsibility of his 40-year-old practice. I am honored to provide orthodontics to many of the grandchildren of his former patients. The location is conveniently located for anyone living in Pensacola. It is also a top orthodontics practice for those living in Pace, Milton, Cantonment, and Perdido with a maximum of 15 minute drive. Our office is right off I-110 and next door to Barnes and Nobles and Sam’s Club.

1-5-15 I am a current client and I absolutely LOVE these people. They are totally up-to-date on everything, they are great about keep clients informed and they've all encouraged me through the battle with my teeth. Plus the staff seems to maintain their smiles too (it's a happy place with some pretty teeth). My last visit with Lisa was most pleasant; I was able to request info and look at the x-rays and everything. She was great. I must add that having braces as a teacher makes it difficult to schedule appointments but the staff always try hard to find me an after-school appt. time and they even see patients on most holidays. I cannot boast enough about this company. 6 stars from me!

We have 2 children being treated currently here. We love this office Dr. Sims is great about explaining everything, and working with military families. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Both children feel very comfortable with their care, space maintainers, and braces. The office is also easy to book appointments with and great about sending emails or text message reminders, which I love getting.

Dr. Sims and his staff are amazing I just wanted to say that they are prompt, thorough and kind. I am almost sad I got my braces off because I looked forward to seeing them every eight weeks! I got braces as an adult because I had big gaps in my teeth . I disliked them to the point of deleting photos of myself because some of my photos appeared that I was missing teeth and now I love my smile!! You see confidence when you look at me now.. We have been seen in the Crestview office for 2 yrs, not only is it a homey feel when you walk through the door but the staff is so down to earth and friendly. They treat you like family!
