Meet the Sims Orthodontics Family

Orthodontic care is more than a one-time visit. The caring staff at Sims Orthodontics will be with you every step of the way en route to your perfect smile. From our Administrative and Treatment-Coordinating teams, to our Clinical Team and members of our in-house custom orthodontic lab, our professionals work as a family to ensure your family’s experience is as exceptional as the smile they’ll end up with.

Meet Our Team

At Sims Orthodontics, we have more than 125 years of combined experience in the orthodontic field! Our team is fully dedicated to making all of our patients feel right at home by putting their needs first and providing them with energetic, attentive services. Learn more about our talented staff here!

Treatment Coordinator

Amy started working in the orthodontic field in 2000 and joined the Sims Orthodontics team in 2013. Her favorite part about orthodontics is being able to help patients achieve that perfect smile and watch their self-esteem grow throughout the process. She is a proud mother of two children, as well as two dogs and three cats (who are her fur-babies!). In her free time, Amy loves to make memories and have adventures with her family.

Certified Orthodontic Assistant

Brandy is a certified orthodontic assistant for the Sims Orthodontics team and received her orthodontic certification in 2013. She chose the orthodontic field because she loves getting to know the patients, being a part of their orthodontic experience, and helping their confidence grow at each appointment. She is the mommy of a little girl and in her free time, she likes being with her family and friends anywhere outdoors, including the park and the beach.

Scheduling Coordinator

Lori joined the team almost 10 years ago and has 18 years of experience as an orthodontic assistant. She loves her scheduling coordinator position because she gets to interact with patients and their families! A native of Texas, Lori enjoys going to the beach and spending time with her family and friends.

Lab Technician

Claudia has been a part of our team for more than 25 years, and has more than 35 years of experience in the medical and dental fields. She considers Sims Orthodontics to be her second family, and enjoys being able to make retainers and appliances in the office so we can provide the highest standard of care. She has been happily married for 13 years and lives on a farm with miniature horses, chickens, ducks, cats, and a dog.

Financial Coordinator

Tabitha has been a part of the Sims Orthodontics team since 2003. She takes pride in being creative and doing everything possible to help our patients enjoy their orthodontic treatment experience. As a member of a fun and caring staff that always tries to go the extra mile, Tabitha loves seeing all the beautiful smiles that come from our treatment and watching a patient’s self-confidence bloom!

Office Manager

Michelle grew up in Pace and received braces from Dr. Trawick at this very practice when she was 11-years-old. In 1986, she started working here as an orthodontic assistant, and is now the office manager for the practice. You can still see her work on braces from time to time, as that is her true passion! Over the 28 years she has worked at Sims Orthodontics, she has seen braces change the lives of many people, including her two children. Michelle is happily married and loves working at the Pensacola office.
