Your initial visit to our office will be a complimentary consultation where you will get to meet our team, learn more about orthodontic treatments, complete an exam, and discuss treatment options that will best meet your needs. After you complete your initial consultation, you will be another step closer to the smile you deserve!
There are four main questions we will cover during the consultation:
- Is there an orthodontic concern, and if so, what is it?
- What must be done to correct the problem?
- How long will treatment take?

At Sims Orthodontics, our mission is to provide you with affordable, high-quality treatment that fits your budget. We work with all dental and orthodontic insurance plans (even if we are not on your provider list or network!), and if your insurance covers orthodontic treatment, you’ll receive the added benefit of reduced personal costs. Many insurance policies even have a lifetime maximum orthodontic benefit that is separate from regular dental insurance. These policies can vary, so our team will be happy to review your insurance plan and help you understand your benefits.
Orthodontic fees depend on the complexity of the correction and we will explain the exact costs to you during the initial consultation. We offer a variety of flexible payment options to accommodate your needs, including zero-interest financing, and accept payments by cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Once treatment has started, we will file your insurance claims on your behalf for further peace of mind.
A large part of our philosophy is that we believe people should never miss out on orthodontic treatment due to finances or insurance. We provide a complimentary insurance benefits check and will file all insurance claims on our patients’ behalf, taking the burden of dealing with insurance providers off of our patients. We offer flexible payment plans, as well as 0% interest, that can be spread out over the length of treatment.
