This one is the easiest question to answer. If you watch any of the videos on my website you can see I am so grateful to be in a profession that provides such a life changing service to so many kids and adults. We transform a patient’s smile but that does so much more for them. It is so rewarding to watch a shy, unconfident kid just come out of their shell, start talking and smiling more and just being more confident once their teeth start getting straighter. I have an opportunity to connect with so many kids (and adults) and not only build a relationship with them but influence them in a positive way.
I am part of the cleft palate and craniofacial clinic and many of these patients have been through so much. They have very complex dental and orthodontic needs and it can be very challenging technically but also emotionally. Watching them positively change physically and emotionally is one of the most rewarding things we do at my office.

I would consider myself a true Hometown orthodontist in Pensacola. I was born in Pensacola and lived in Gulf Breeze until I left for college. I had the opportunity to fulfill my dream of practicing orthodontics in Pensacola when Dr. Trawick entrusted me with the responsibility of his 40-year-old practice. I am honored to provide orthodontics to many of the grandchildren of his former patients. The location is conveniently located for anyone living in Pensacola. It is also a top orthodontics practice for those living in Pace, Milton, Cantonment, and Perdido with a maximum of 15 minute drive. Our office is right off I-110 and next door to Barnes and Nobles and Sam’s Club.

My 11 year old granddaughter is visiting me from Miami Beach and late Friday afternoon at the Blue Angels show, one of the wires on her braces started bothering her. It was very uncomfortable. I called Dr. Sims office and was immediately given an appointment for Monday morning at 8:30. We arrived early today, Monday, and she was immediately seen. It took just a few minutes to resolve her problem with her braces. I went to the window to pay for the visit. I was told there would be no charge. I explained she wasn't a patient of Dr. Sims and still was told no charge. What wonderful, kind, generous people. My granddaughter said: "I love them and this place. Its better than the office where I go at home." I would highly recommend Dr. Sims and his staff to anyone In Pensacola or the surrounding cities. You will be extremely happy with the people, the professionalism, the service, and the results. I wish I could give them 10 stars!! Happy Grandma!

Sims Orthodontics was a great experience. They made me feel welcome by writing all the patients names on a board welcoming them (it's the little things). Dr. Sims and his staff was extremely professional, but also do a great job at being nice and happy. Dr. Sims helped me out (a new patient) just as he would have for life long patients. Although my braces are off and there, realistically, isn't a huge chance of me needing to get further work done, I highly recommend Dr. Sims to anyone needing a clean (office), happy, professional and punctual Orthodontist.

Dr. Sims and his staff are amazing I just wanted to say that they are prompt, thorough and kind. I am almost sad I got my braces off because I looked forward to seeing them every eight weeks! I got braces as an adult because I had big gaps in my teeth . I disliked them to the point of deleting photos of myself because some of my photos appeared that I was missing teeth and now I love my smile!! You see confidence when you look at me now..
